‘Giving Everyone the Chance to Dance’
The Island Dance and Theatre Company is based on the south coast of England, on the Isle of Wight, also known as ‘The Garden Isle’. We offer a wide range of classes, including classes for children with special needs. Our Studios are located in Shanklin and Godshill which are easily accessible to anyone looking to join a dance and theatre group on the Isle of Wight.
“Every student that walks through the door is important, and has a great opportunity to reach out to the community and the world in a positive way. What is taught at The Island Dance & Theatre Company makes a difference in someone else’s life. The best gift you could give your child is confidence and self esteem, these are the characteristics needed to be successful in life. Dance is a wonderful way to develop these! We are trained in technique, theory, anatomy and safe practice and we will assist your child with good posture, self-awareness, discipline, body fitness, goal setting, personal friendship and self esteem to enable them to grow in confidence throughout their dancing years.”
The Island Dance and Theatre Company caters for all ages and levels of dance experience – for the once a week student as a hobby, or for those who wish to progress professionally.
We offer many genres of Dance and Theatre classes, including:
