We are a friendly, fun and exciting multi award winning dance school, and have an excellent reputation of high standards and strive to provide the best dance training in a supportive and friendly environment. We cater for all ages and level of dance experience – for the once a week student as a hobby, or those who wish to progress professionally.
Every student that walks through the door is important, and has a great opportunity to reach out to the community and the world in a positive way, what is taught at The Island Dance and Theatre Company, makes a different in someone elses life. The best gift you could give your child is confidence and self-esteem. These are the characteristics needed to be successful in life. Dance is a wonderful way to develop these.
We are trained in technique, theory, anatomy and safe practise ad we will assist your child with good posture, self-awareness, discipline, body fitness, goal setting, personal friendship and self-esteem and they will grow in confidence throughout their dancing years!

In April 2009, The Island Dance and Theatre Company opened its doors with just 15 pupils, today the school boasts of over 150 pupils from babies to 60+ year olds and firmly believe that anybody should have the chance to dance.
The school is based on the south coast of England on the Isle of Wight also known as the ‘Garden Island’
We offer a wide range of classes, including classes for special needs.

Introduction to Dance, Ballet, Tap, Freestyle, Musical Theatre, Drama, West End Workout, Fitness & Fun, Island Dance singers, C.K. Singers, Performance Group, Singing
We offer a variety of Private classes, and also many Adult classes.
