Please understand how important it is to our students dance training to follow our simple/not too strict dress code requirements. Hair must be worn off the face at all times, hair in buns if possible for ballet please. Jewellery of any kind (other than stud earrings & wedding rings) Also, homemade necklaces should not be worn for safety reasons. Jeans are not allowed, even for the freestyle classes.

In colder weather, layers of clothing are allowed until the dancer is warmed up and then proper dance attire needs to be on underneath the layers.

Preparatory to Grade 1 ballet:
Pink leotard
Pink skirt
Pink ballet shoes
Pink socks or tights

Grade 2 – Grade 4 ballet:
Mulberry  leotard
Pink ballet shoes
Pink tights

 Grade 5 – student & Professional exams  ballet:
Black leotard
Pink ballet shoes
Pink tights

 Freestyle:
Island Dance ‘T’ Shirt
Black jazz trousers
black jazz shoes

 Tap:
As for Ballet but with White Tap shoes

Ballet:
White fitted t-shirt
Black shorts or fitted trousers/Leggings
Black ballet shoes

Freestyle:
Black jazz trousers
Island Dance ‘T’ Shirt
Black jazz shoes

Tap:
As for Freestyle but with black tap shoes

 Adult ballet
No set uniform but please wear clothes that allow you to move easily and be seen clearly in so that corrections can be made

If examinations are taken the preferred uniform is required.
